Here you can also experience a night under a billion stars sleeping in Bedouin tents, feel like you’re on Mars traversing the extraordinary Wadi Rum desert, or simply read a newspaper while lying on your back in the Dead Sea. Canyoning at the Wadi Mujib nature reserve will be an unforgettable experience, with diving to admire the coral reef in Aqaba for dessert. EXPEDITION PLAN
EXPERIENCE A WHOLE RANGE OF SENSATIONS
It is going to be a really intense week! We will see a wonder of the world (literally!), spend a night in the desert that looks like it’s taken out of a sci-fi movie, visit a nature reserve with the greatest diversity of species in all of Jordan, swim in the world’s saltiest sea, get our adrenaline pumping on a canyoning trip and gaze at the incredibly starry sky over the Wadi Rum desert. In addition, we will take a 4×4 jeep tour in the desert, sample local delicacies and spend an evening like real Bedouins.
PETRA - THE ICON OF JORDAN
Quite obviously, the real pearl of Jordan – Petra – could not be missing from our to-do list. These are unique multi-coloured ruins of the Nabatean city. So unique that Petra is on the list of the new 7 wonders of the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can get lost here for days, discovering room after room carved into the rock. Petra takes on different masks depending on the time of day, shining different colours in response to the sunlight falling on it.

W Petrze znajdziesz bogactwo historycznych i archeologicznych skarbów. Zwiedzając to miejsce, nie możesz przegapić Al-Khazneh (Skarbu), Monastyru Ad-Deir, wąwozu Siq, grobowców Królewskich i teatru. Każdy z tych obiektów oferuje niepowtarzalne doznania i wspaniałe widoki.

DANA - A NATURE RESERVE
Jordan is usually associated with a desert climate. This perception will change after our full-day trek at the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Stretching from the Jordan Valley (-200m a.s.l.) to the cliffs near the village of Al-Qadisiyah (1400m a.s.l.), it passes through four biogeographical zones.
Here you can see the greatest diversity of animal and plant species in all of Jordan. Many of them can only be found here and are threatened with extinction.

Can you imagine lying on your back in the middle of the sea and reading a newspaper? All the while completely relaxed because the buoyant force of the water is so great that you don’t even need to move a finger to stay afloat? This is the Dead Sea, which is called so for a reason. Due to the highest salinity in the world, not a single creature lives below the water surface. At the same time, it is also the lowest place on earth! (-430m a.s.l.)

AMMAN - THE QUINTESSENCE OF THE MIDDLE EAST
Amman, with its colourful history dating back to antiquity, impresses with its unique monuments. It is the quintessence of the Middle East. The omnipresent chaos, spread over several hills that blend into a city with architecture not to be experienced in Europe. The local market delights with interesting products and the famous Rainbow Street attracts with its atmospheric diners, traditional ice cream and famous falafels.

Hashem Restaurant w dzielnicy Downtown w Ammanie to legenda i symbol tradycyjnej jordańskiej kuchni. Od lat serwuje pyszne dania z hummusem, falafelem, chlebem pita i innymi lokalnymi specjałami. Prosta, autentyczna atmosfera przyciąga zarówno mieszkańców, jak i turystów. To obowiązkowy punkt na mapie smakoszy w Ammanie. Na ścianach przyciągają wzrok rodziny Królewskiej, która regularnie gości w tym miejscu.
MADABA – MIASTO BIZANTYJSKICH MOZAIK
Madaba to urokliwe miasto w Jordanii, znane z mozaiki z VI wieku, w tym słynnej Mapy Madaby, przedstawiającej Ziemię Świętą. Podczas wizyty w Madabie odwiedzimy także nieopodal połozoną Górę Nebo, miejsce, z którego według tradycji Mojżesz ujrzał Ziemię Obiecaną.
AQABA - DIVERS’ PARADISE
Aqaba is famous for its clear waters, which are conducive to snorkelling and scuba diving. Numerous shipwrecks and tank wrecks are scattered along the entire coastline. Certainly a treat for more experienced divers. But also those less experienced may admire the unique coral reef which is as close as a dozen or so metres from the shore. By the way, swimming in the Red Sea itself is an unusual experience.
ACCOMMODATION - An overnight stay in Bedouin tents
If the picture of a starry sky over the desert is not enough, what if we add to it the possibility of sleeping in Bedouin tents? During the expedition, overnight stays will be mainly in climatic hostels, but there is an unusual one planned as well – at a campsite in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert! There we will spend the night in comfortable glamping tents to experience real desert life. If this vision appeals to you, it’s great, because we’ll repeat it near the Dana Reserve!
The remaining nights will be spent in three-star hotels, in rooms for 2-4.
TRANSPORT
In the Wadi Rum desert, another unique attraction awaits: a 4×4 jeep tour. Dashing through the desert sands, the wind in your hair and the heat on your face ensure an unforgettable, one of a kind experience. Even more magnificent thanks to unearthly landscapes – sand dunes and steep rocky gorges with wild camels strolling here and there. A local guide will accompany us along the entire route.

Jordan will satisfy both meat lovers and vegetarians. Jordanian cuisine is a veritable symphony of colours, flavours and aromas, which makes you absorb it with every sense. During the trip, there will be many opportunities to taste delicious Jordanian delicacies and this way get to know the ins and outs of the local culture.

Aqaba is one of the best dive sites in the world. During the trip, you may dive to admire the abundance of underwater life. In addition to the reef, Aqaba has also numerous plane and tank wrecks. Both the more and the less experienced will find diving in Aqaba ideal for them. There will be an opportunity to dive down once or twice.

QUAD BIKING IN THE DESERT
You may choose to go on a quad bike tour in the Martian landscape of the Wadi Rum desert. This is an amazing opportunity to admire this unique place from a rider’s perspective. The tour takes usually about 40 minutes. The quad bikes are single-seater.

Acting within the scope of the information obligation under generally applicable law – we would like to inform you that due to the rapidity, changeability and impossibility to precisely predict the introduction of internal sanitary regulations in the countries through which the journey to the final destination of the package travel takes place, a situation may arise in which the Traveller, under the above-mentioned regulations, will be obliged to perform, before entering the territory of a given country, tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and then to cover the costs of these tests in full, in order to continue the journey to the final destination of the package travel. Nevertheless, in order to meet the expectations of our participants, we, for our part, provide full information support in the field of applicable and ongoing regulations along the package travel route. Such information shall be sent to participants of particular trips by email. At the same time, we would like to inform you that, on the basis of Article X of the Package Travel Terms and Conditions, the Traveller may, at any time prior to the start of the package travel, cancel his/her participation in the package travel (withdraw from the package travel contract), in accordance with the calculation of the cancellation costs included in the contract.
